The “Training Programme for Conflict Management” organized by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa (SSSP) in collaboration with the Peace Research Institute (PRI) of Khartoum University and the Embassy of Italy in Khartoum is about to start.
The first ever organized in Sudan, this highly qualifying course will be held from the 16th of October to the 20th of October in the own facilities of the University of Khartoum, at the presence of the most important experts in the mechanisms of peacemaking, peacebuilding and peacekeeping, such as Professor Andrea De Guttry, from the Scuola Sant’Anna di Pisa.
During the training days, participants will have the opportunity to know the key aspects of international missions and to internally analyze the activities of the African Union and of the different regional bodies involved in the conflict management. In this way, they will deepen their knowledge in the field of negotiation and mediation, considering also the importance of the role of the media nowadays.
