This is to inform that, starting from October 5, 2018 – pursuant to art. 14 of the law n. 113 dated October 4, 2018

The requests or declarations of election, acquisition, reacquisition, renunciation or granting of Italian Citizenship are subject to the payment of a contribution, which amounts to 250 Euros.
The closure deadlines of the proceedings referred to in Articles 5 and 9 of Law 91/92- is forty-eight (48) months from the submission of the application.
The same deadline shall apply to the jure sanguinis procedures for recognition initiated on the basis of facts which occurred before 1 January 1948, also for those cases initiated by Consular Authorities.
