The University of Padua published the call STARS Grants – Supporting talent in Research, aimed at promoting and encouraging innovative and ambitious research at high international standard, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the capacity of attracting external competitive funding, in particular those of the European Research Council.
The STARS notice Grants is intended to fund individual research projects lasting two years proposed by excellent Principal Investigator (PIs), Italian and foreign.
In particular, the notice STARS Starting Grants (StG-STARS) is aimed at supporting researchers with doctoral degree, obtained from at least 2 years and no more than 7 years as of January 1st, 2018, in the establishment of their team and/or research.
The deadline for submission of proposals, which must be written in English, is June 30, 2017 h. 13:00 (CET).
