It is also good to know about a recent research, referring to the Academic year 2016/17 but mostly valid also for the Academic year 2017-2018, published on the website of the CRUI – The Conference of Italian University Rectors, which aims to provide an overview of the University Master’s courses of level I and II, along with PhD programs, in addition to the Winter/Summer School courses (https://www.crui.it/home-ri/item/2511-corsi-in-lingua-inglese-master-universitari-dottorati-e-winter-summer-school.html).
The survey results reveal an education post-degree in English with a total of 682 courses in 60 universities, with a preponderance of students in the subject areas of “economic and statistical science” and “Industrial Engineering” and “Information”.
This study (the creation of which was attended by all 80 Universities associated with CRUI) certainly is a valuable information tool for international students wishing to spend part of their university course or specialization in Italy – although not possessing the necessary skills in Italian language – especially for scientific and technological disciplines.
