XII Conference of the Ambassadors of Italy (Farnesina, 24th -27th July 2017)

The XII Conference of the Ambassadors of Italy was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 24th to 27th, under the title: “Security and growth in the disorder era: Italian diplomacy facing global challenges”.
At the core of the discussions, global challenges facing Italy and Europe: present and future crisis, but also innovations and developments in the field of geo-politics, tecnology, demography and environment –which will determine our future.
Everything was read through the lenses of the two priority challenges: security and growth.
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the Prime Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Angelino Alfano, delivered speeches during the works at the Farnesina, from 24th to 27th July.
On 27th July the Ambassadors moved to Milan, where discussions continued in cooperation with Assolombarda, Fondazione Pirelli Hangar Bicocca and Comune di Milano
