Schengen States: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Application form<\/a>\u00a0or (free of charge) available for collection from the Embassy;<\/li>\n
  2. Two<\/strong>\u00a0recent colour photograph (white background<\/i>);<\/li>\n
  3. Original passport (with a validity of at least three months after the expiry date of the requested Visa), together with copies of relevant pages including any previous Schengen,\u00a0UK, Canadian or\u00a0USA\u00a0visas.<\/li>\n
  4. Non-Sudanese citizens must hold a valid residence permit and exit\/re-entry visa;<\/li>\n
  5. Proof of valid means of travel (flight reservation for the whole period of stay in the Schengen area);<\/li>\n
  6. Reference letter from employer (organization\/institution , etc.) specifying the reason of the journey (If costs are covered by organization), applicant\u2019s position, salary, beginning and duration of the contract of employment, Bank statement, with the cover letter, of the 12 months, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Invitation from Organizers in Italy (specifying charge of expenses), program of stay and\/ or letter of confirmation of event\u00a0(it MUST be sent by the Organizers\u00a0 directly to the Embassy before your appointment<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  8. Hotel reservation (if not already included in invitation)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Travel medical insurance (original and one copy<\/strong>) for all Schengen Countries with a minimum coverage of \u20ac30,000 for emergency hospitalization and repatriation expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
