Today (March 3rd) will take place, at the Italian Pavilion of Expo Dubai 2020, the official launch event of Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030, during the which will be the speaker. Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Mobility Giovannini, the Mayor of Rome Gualtieri, the President of the Promoting Committee Amb. Massolo and Vice President Lavinia Biagiotti, the Commissioner General of Expo Dubai
2020 Glisenti and the architect Carlo Ratti.
The event will be broadcast in live streaming and will be aimed at presenting, in preview, the contents and the conceptual project of the candidacy, which will rotate around five areas identified by the Committee itself as central to the action of communication to the outside of the project: 1) Evolution and regeneration; 2) Diversity and inclusion; 3) Sustainability and circularity; 4) Digital first and ZED (Zero) Emission Digital); 5) Decentralization and connection.
The event will therefore be aimed at illustrating in detail the spirit and narrative behind it of the path conceived by the organizers to approach the 2030 Exposition. A path that is intended to develop, among other things, thanks to the realization of projects of common interest with the participating countries, in areas related to the theme “People and Territories: urban regeneration, inclusion and innovation”. To this end, precious will be the indications that these Offices will want to provide, in agreement with the interlocutors of reference, on possible projects, so that they can act as truly effective responses to the concrete needs of the respective countries of
accreditation.
