The headquarters of the diplomatic Chancellery is property of the Italian state since 1969, but it housed there since 1955.
It was not a purchase, but a donation to the Italian Government by the eng. Giuseppe Torno, at the time owner of the stock company, by the same name which took place September 5, 1969.
The Diplomatic Mission is located on a free leased land by the Sudanese Government. It consists of a central body with two floors, the ground floor is 388 sqm and the upper floor of 288 square meters, The annex, also on two floors, is 160 square meters.
