Commercial Office:
The Commercial office is opened to the public: Sunday-Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm after seeking an appointment.

Consular Office:

The Consular office is opened to the public : For Passport/Aire /civil status from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm
For Legalisation and translation Mondays from 9 am to 12 pm and Tuesdays from 12 pm to 3 pm

Visa section:

• Business/Invitation/Mission/Study/Tourism: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 noon.
• Family Reunion/Work: Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 noon.
• Visa pick up is only on Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm

•In order to lodge a visa application, you are kindly required to book an appointment through the ON - LINE BOOKING SYSTEM
•PLEASE note that each applicant can lodge 1 application only.
•REMEMBER to print your booking receipt with date and time of your appointment and to present it at the entrance of the Embassy on the day of your interview.
•CANCELLING an appointment is not permitted. No-shows will not be granted further appointments in the short term.
Applicants are advised to consult the following website for information regarding the rights and duties of Foreign Nationals entering Italy and the Schengen territories:


• A newly introduced Italian software feature named E@pplication now allows applicants to fill in their Schengen visa request forms on line.
The application forms must be filled with Full Name (as in the passport) and be duly completed in all fields. The 5 pages should then be printed, signed and submitted on the date of the interview at the Visa Section of the Embassy.

• Visa applications may be submitted up to 3 months before expected departure date;
The Visa processing for Sudanese passport holders may take up to 2 weeks from acceptance of application and fingerprinting;
• Applicants who will not be in a position to collect their passports personally are required to fill in the attached form authorizing a third party to do so on their behalf.

 Calendar of Holidays 2019
The Embassy observes 11 annual holidays split between Sudanese and Italian holidays. Italian holidays are fixed, while the Sudanese holidays are variable. Holidays for the year 2019 are as follows:
